The Maryland SPCA's First Annual Ride for the Animals was a fun event and rousing success!
Motorcyclists from all over the tri-State area showed up on Sunday, August 30, 2009 to lend support for the event and raise money for the benefit of the Maryland SPCA. The event, orchestrated by the Buell Harley-Davidson Store, attracted over 100 biker participants and several pets were there to either see the riders off -- or ride along! Tina Jarman, Director of Promotions and Marketing for Harley-Davidson/Buell of Baltimore, did a superb job of orchestrating this gala event.
Val was on hand to sign copies of her new book and meet and greet the participants. A portion of the proceeds from each book sold the Ride for the Animals was also donation to the Maryland SPCA.
