Natural Pet Expo: September 27, 2009
Although the day began with rain - and then some more rain - the 6th Annual Natural Pet Expo in Philadelphia drew many dog owners out to brave the elements.

Maybe it's all the practice dog owners get while walking their beloved animals in the rain or maybe it is the growing interest by pet owners in natural and holistic care for their dogs.  Whatever the reason, many dogs took time from their busy sofa time to bring their humans to Northern Liberties!

Val was on hand to meet and talk with dog owners and the many vendors who brought their products and services to the event.  Val spent time with a special book signing for Breakfasts With Buster, sharing Buster's story and life.

Because of the rain, the Pet Challenge Parade was cancelled but that didn't stop Val from snapping some photos of some award winning dogs.
Check them out here.

Congratulations to Bette Hanson and all of the volunteers for the Natural Pet Expo.  We'll see you in 2010!
